Truth sets them free..

C's struggled early on in Toronto, but behind Paul Pierce's 30 points, and an explosive 4th quarter, the Celts outlast the Raptors 93-79 this evening. Pierce was almost unstoppable tonight. Scoring on a mixture of jumpers, 3-pointers, and dunks-1 of them a ferocious one-handed throwdown. Looked like he rolled an ankle on the 2nd dunk, and he left the game afterwards late in the 4th. Hopefully it's nothing serious. P-Dub finished with an amazing 30 points, 7 boards, 4 assists, 7 of 8 from the line, 10 of 15 from the field & 3 of 3 from Downtown.

Rajon Rondo had 4 points and 8 assists in his first game back from the ankle-injury that sidelined him for 8 games. Glen Davis had a career-high 8 assists to go with 15 points and 11 boards. Ray Allen was again a key contributor, dropping 23 points on 10 of 18 shooting with 3 three-pointers.

Celts now fly back to Boston where they will face Kevin Love and the TWolves tomorrow night. Tip-off at the Garden will be at 7:30pm. I'll be at the game and should have some pics/video/thoughts here late tomorrow night.
