No NBA games today. For those who need their hoop fix, luckily we have NBA TV. Right now, they are showing last year's All-Star game. Watch for Ray Allen to put on a shooting clinic. Then, at 5pm, they are airing a one-hour condensed version of Game 6 of last year's finals. May be therapeutic for those of us still frustrated by the West Coast trip. I have seen it a few times, but I guess I never get tired of watching the Lakers get blown-out by almost 40 points. Happy 2009 Celts fans, and enjoy Charles Barkley's (sweaty) mugshot. He was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Arizona a couple of days ago. The strangest part of the story is that he was out clubbing that night with Jaleel White-the guy who played "Urkel." Go figure....
It would make more sense for them to show Game 1 or Game 2 . . . those were the best. But Game 6 was wicked fun anyways, so I'm all right.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Game 2 was pretty cool too. As was lucky enough to be at Game 6. I also have Games 2 and 6 on dvd.
