In an unreal game tonight in Miami, the Celtics beat the Heat in OT, 112-106. Dwayne Wade stole the ball from Ray Allen with about 5 seconds left, dunked the ball, and the game appeared to be over. But in pure Celtics fashion, Doc Rivers calls an out-of-bounds alley-oop play with 0.06 left, and Pierce and Rondo execute it perfectly. This game was far from pretty, as the C's turned the ball over 24 times, but they made key plays when it mattered. There were many clutch plays buy the guys in green tonight, Per, Ray, P-Dub and 'Sheed all contributed. But Rondo's stat line is just awesome: 25 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds, and he played a grueling 50 minutes with a tweaked hamstring. Whew....WHAT a game. C's are now off until Friday when they face the Hawks in Atlanta. Tip-off is at 8pm.
